In 2015, off the success of the aforementioned condo developments, Richard bought the Katie Falk Team. Katie and her team were serving 50+ families a year, primarily in the north shore and downtown. At the time, real estate teams were in their infancy and none were run like businesses. Richard brought this acumen to the team, creating proprietary systems and procedures to tightly dial in the customer experience. He built a team of 20+ specialists, all experts at their specific tasks. Today, with Molly Gallagher as a partner and his son Josh by his side, he and the team serve 200+ clients a year, with annual sales of nearly $200M. Richard and his team sell more luxury homes ($1M+) than any other local team. Last year, their clients homes sold, on average, in less than two weeks and for more than their asking price. 2004 - PRESENT

In 2005, Richard leveraged his design and construction background and began developing a variety of commercial and residential properties. Most notably, he and his partners developed The Blatz condominiums, a 169 unit mixed use development comprising a square block in the heart of the City of Milwaukee. Following that, he and his partners repositioned and marketed Landmark on the Lake and Kilbourn Tower Condominiums. All totaled, Richard and his team have sold in excess of 600 condominium units ranging in price from $100k to over $3M. Because of this unmatched experience, Richard has been tapped to help vision and market the only newly built condominium high rise in Milwaukee, with occupancy for the 230 units slated for 2028.

1990 - 2003

Construction

Richard began his real estate career in the construction industry. Richard, and his brother founded Ruvin Bros Artisans & Trades in the early 1990’s. What started as a small luxury renovation and new construction business grew to a 25 person firm with offices in Milwaukee and Chicago. Together they built a loyal clientele. They took on everything from kitchen & bath renovations to multi-year engagements where they sourced the properties and built luxury estate homes in excess of $10M. It was the brothers’ knowledge, resources and ability to deliver complex projects on time and on budget that cemented their reputation. While he sold the business in 2003, Richard has maintained his longstanding relationships with many of the best tradesmen and suppliers in the area. This benefits his brokerage clients as he prepares their homes for successful sale.
