About Bayside

Bayside is the northernmost community in Milwaukee County. In fact, a small portion of Bayside actually resides in Ozaukee County. Lots tend to be larger than Whitefish Bay and Shorewood, which are denser sidewalk communities. Much of the housing stock was built in the 1960’s through the 1980’s. Bayside provides a great quality of life, with a slightly lower cost per square foot than the communities to the south. Good luck finding a parking space in the perennially popular Bayside Garden Center in Spring.

What Richard Loves About Bayside

"Having grown up in Bayside, I have fond memories of days spent at the Audubon Nature Center. I shared many an evening at weddings and events in the scenic pavillion. You truly feel miles away from life in the city."

Richard's Market Commentary

"Buyers often start their search in Whitefish Bay and end up buying in Bayside as the properties are larger and the homes are slightly more affordable."

Common Questions From Bayside Sellers

What Sellers in this Neighborhood Ask Most

What Sellers in this Neighborhood Ask Most

Q: What is the best time to sell a luxury home in Bayside?

A: Spring remains the strongest window in Bayside, with buyer activity peaking between late March and mid-June. In 2026, low inventory has compressed the seasonal advantage — well-prepared homes are moving, albeit with less competition, in the off-season as well.

Q: How long does it take to sell a luxury home in Bayside?

A: The current average is 20 days on market. Homes priced precisely and prepared with Richard's pre-listing process have consistently sold in under two weeks and for more than asking price.

Q: What is my Bayside home worth in 2026?

A: The average price of a home in Bayside is $591,000, with significant variation based on lot size, condition, and architectural quality. The only accurate answer comes from a conversation with Richard, who knows this specific market.

Q: How do I choose a listing advisor in Bayside?

A: Look for a demonstrated track record in this specific neighborhood, not just the broader Milwaukee market. Ask how many Bayside luxury homes they have sold in the past 24 months, what their average list-to-sale ratio is, and specifically, what both their tools and their process are to ensure success.

Q: What should I do before listing my home in Bayside?

A: Bayside buyers pay close attention to condition, finishes, and quality of light. Before listing, prioritize the improvements that move the needle on perceived value — not the ones that feel most urgent to you as the homeowner. Richard can share the high ROI improvements that make your home most desirable.
